Founded 10 December 1988 by Cardboard Box Hotshots management as a birthday celebration, a recruitment drive, and an excuse. Contested since in four countries, in at least four different months, under formats ranging from straight knockout to a Swiss system that was never explained to anyone, including the organising committee.
